After much prayer and consideration, Mike & Helen Luzine (West Region Evangelist, Toronto Church of Christ), have eagerly accepted God�s call to move across Canada and begin serving the church in Calgary.An Announcement of Sacrifice, Service & Love:
Presently the Rocky Mountain Church of Christ (Calgary International Christian Church) is without full time ministry staff. Disciples within the congregation of that city, put out a request to sister congregations to inquire if there would be any minister desiring to continue to work on the excellent foundation already laid in Alberta.The Luzine�s leadership has been instrumental in guiding and nurturing stability in the Toronto Church for many years. As a result of their efforts on the leadership team, we have developed into a healthy family of believers that continues to support world missions (Eurasia), has been experiencing baptisms and restorations, and is enjoying a resurgence of growth and commitment in all ministries.
We commend Mike and Helen Luzine, not only to the disciples in Calgary, Alberta, but to the family of believers worldwide. We are confident that God will continue His good work with and through His servants Mike and Helen. We are confident that they will continue to serve the congregation with humility and a heart to further unity in Christ in our country. Finally, we are certain that they will continue to live as examples of Jesus, willing to be taught as they teach others.
