The psalms are the worshipper's God-breathed toolbox. The better we understand the words, the themes, and the imperatives found in this great treasury, the closer we get to restoring the spirit of Biblical worship.
At LCW, we have put together a series of short (four to six-minute) video lessons, exploring and explaining principles of praise gleaned from the meanings of Hebrew worship words. These serve as a guide for developing worship through song, prayer, readings, communion, giving, and fellowship -- vital facets of our corporate worship experience.
These videos are being effectively used by a number of churches in developing more passionate, knowledgeable and energetic congregational praise, as monthly "Hebrew Word of the Month" mini-lessons shared during our call to worship.
