Spring semester for 2016 begins January 30 at the Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology! We invite you to apply for entrance into our master's degree programs and register for the following classes:
Class 1. ONLINE: NT659 The Book of Acts (three credit hours)
This course involves an asynchronous in-depth study of the contents and history found in the Book of Acts and has a special focus on the biblical theological themes of conversion, the Holy Spirit, church polity, and leadership principles. This class will taught by Dr. Glenn Giles and will have components of recorded video lectures of Dr. Bill Moulden and Dr. Glenn Giles, as well as a session on Ecclesiology by Dr. Gregg Marutzky. We will also have a lecture series by John Lusk on the Holy Spirit.
Class 2. TRADITIONAL: NT653 The Sermon on the Mount and Beyond (three credit hours)
This course involves a traditional in-class face-to-face exegetical study of the Sermon on the Mount from the Book of Matthew, Christian ethics found in it, and this passage’s application to today. In addition to the text of Matthew 5-7, will be looking at issues in contemporary Christian ethics such as Christ in culture, divorce and remarriage, reproductive technologies, sexual ethics, contraception, abortion, euthanasia, capital punishment, war, loving your enemies, the heart posture for being a disciple of Jesus, Jesus’ fulfillment of the Law, and more. This class will be taught by Dr. Glenn Giles with Dr. Steve Kinnard speaking on the special topic of "Christ and Culture."
