On February 14, 2018, a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland rattled our community. Seventeen people were killed and fourteen more hospitalized. Among the victims were students, teachers and faculty members. As our community continues to mourn the loss of life and bears the burden of grief, we as the Broward Church (and all who will join) have decided to call on God for guidance, wisdom, comfort, peace and hope.
Beginning February 26, the Broward Church is calling for a time of prayer and fasting for those effected by the Parkland shooting. We are calling on you as a covenant member of our community and all those who are willing to join us to fast from one meal per day for the next seventeen days, one for every life lost in this tragedy.

Let's pray together that we can be a light to these families, that God will provide for them supernatural comfort and a peace that surpasses understanding. Although we continue to live in challenging times, we as a community of faith can make an impact by praying and fasting for these families... Will you join us?
