Beat Cancer: Worship Experience Fundraiser Concert

The Greater Baltimore Church is pleased to announceour second annual Worship Experience Fundraiser Concert on Sunday, November 20, 2016. The proceeds of this year’s fundraiser concert will be used, in part, to assist members of our congregation who are currently in the fight to beat cancer. The diagnosis of this disease followed by the costs of long-term treatment, such as chemotherapy, packs a one-two punch felt by the entire family. Our goal is to do what we can to lessen the impact of these devastating blows.

Greater Baltimore's Mature Ministry Leads First "Wisdom Service"

They’ve never been taught by the children’s, middle school, teen or campus ministry leaders; many of them have their own adult children, are grandparents or even great-grandparents. Between them they represent more than 250 years as disciples of Jesus Christ, 500 years of chronological maturity, and an immeasurable amount of knowledge, talent and wisdom.

They are members of the mature disciples of the Greater Baltimore Church of Christ. And on September 11, also known as National Grandparents Day, 13 of those mature disciples led the first-ever Wisdom Sunday Worship Service in Baltimore.

Two Baltimore Church Members Honored for Careers and Community Involvement

Psalm 148:7-12: "Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and women, old men and children."

The Psalmist says everything will eventually praise God. The earth, the elements, every living thing, young and old are to join heaven in worshiping Yahweh.
