A few weeks ago, we reported to Disciples Today that the Space Coast Church was planning their inaugural service on February 28. We are happy to add that the service was a huge success and marks the beginning of a new spiritual era for the Brevard County Florida/Space Coast area.
Over 170 were in attendance at the Inaugural service with over 40 neighbors, family, and friends joining us. The church is focusing internally on building healthy marriages, families, and friendships. We are also targeting an outreach to the F.I.T. (Florida Institute of Technology) campus utilizing student suppers and S.A.M. (Spirituality and ME) groups which are interactive spiritual discovery discussions for F.I.T. students.
The Space Coast Church meets at the new Wickham Park Community Center, located in the heart of Brevard County. The spotlight is on high-energy worship times and relevant messages. Please pray for our continued success as many study the Bible and make their individual decisions to follow Jesus.
As the rapid growth of the privatized space industry continues and thousands of young families move to the Space Coast, we look forward to a tremendous harvest for God in the months and years to come!
