"Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. 'It’s a ghost,' they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: 'Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.' 'Lord, if it’s you,' Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.' 'Come,' he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus." -- Matthew 14:25-29

Pittsburgh Dublin InternshipGood news from the Greater Pittsburgh Church of Christ and beyond! God has opened the door for a group of 12 disciples to travel from Pennsylvania and Virginia to share the good news with the lost in Dublin, Ireland. The internship is sponsored by the Pittsburgh congregation and hosted by the amazing Dublin church.

We are especially encouraged by all the Pittsburgh disciples and staff who are going at their own expense to build up and strengthen our brothers and sisters.

The interns are first stopping in London to receive some training from the church there. Then we will be sharing our faith and strengthening the Dublin disciples on the major campuses and around the city of Dublin. Our theme for the internship is based on the book, If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat, by John Ortberg. God is calling us to be courageous, and this is our chance to get out of the boat.

Please keep the internship in your prayers as we faithfully spread the good news to the lost in Dublin, Ireland this summer.
