This week disciples at one of the OYC sites got together for a 24-hour seminar on the book of Revelation. The disciples diligently studied the book, played games to improve their knowledge and even learned new worship songs based on passages from Revelation. They even read the entire book in one sitting on a hilltop as part of the program. Encouraged by the message of perseverance and God's victory in John's prophecy, they renewed their dedication to sharing these promises with the world.

This week the OYC Guys tackle another reason why someone might wrongly desire a clear "calling" from God: we are afraid of making wrong decisions. If only God could tell us plainly which path is the right one! The OYC Guys encourage disciples to step out on faith, knowing that God can even work in our mistakes. It's a Biblical truth: God works in all things for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose (Rom. 8:28)!

What We're Reading Today From Josh and Sean McDowell's More Than A Carpenter: "The apostles went through the test of death to substantiate the veracity of what they were proclaiming...I grieve to find so many who lack enough conviction in their lives even to walk across the street for what they believe, much less to die for it." Each week we post a selection from a book disciples considering going on a One Year Challenge could read as part of their preparation.
