The RGV Christian Church is seeking a campus ministry intern to work with college students at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. We are a church of 124 members in South Texas, along the border with Mexico and near the Gulf Coast (which includes beautiful South Padre Island). Our campus ministry has grown consistently over the past seven years, reaching 40 students this spring, and we are excited to see it do greater things for God.
Most of our area is bilingual, and our dream is to raise up leaders who have a heart to go as missionaries to Latin America. We just sent one graduate to Quito, Ecuador on a One Year Challenge. We also want to train leaders who can go into existing churches to help reach the Spanish-speaking populations in the US. The ability to speak Spanish would be helpful but not necessary. Come down and be trained to make a difference in this huge area of need!
