Phoenix Church Seeks Women's Campus Leader

Friday, 11 October 2013 09:38
The Phoenix Church of Christ is currently searching for a full-time women’s campus ministry leader. We recently hired a young single brother to lead this ministry, and we are looking for a woman counterpart that has some leadership experience and a willingness to be trained. These roles will be mentored by our lead ministry couple, Gary and Gail Sciascia.

PhoenixThe primary responsibilities for this position include: 1) leading the evangelistic charge for the campus; 2) working as a team with other leaders for the training, shepherding and maturing of disciples; and 3) organizing the ministry and its activities in such a way as to support spiritual health and growth. Being a team player is a must. Previous ministry leadership experience desired. Along with the rest of the staff, the new campus ministry couple will receive ongoing, in-depth Bible, leadership, and shepherding training.

In the last couple years, the campus ministry here has grown from approximately 25 to 50 disciples, and we believe the growth potential is much greater as Arizona State University is one of the largest universities in the nation. The ministry in Phoenix also enjoys great connections with other campus ministries around the southwest including San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and the University of Arizona in Tucson!

If you are interested, please call Gail Sciascia at: 480.772.3331.
