Thanks to the Helsinki Church of Christ, and a substantial discount given by Bata Shoe Company, each student at the Ashula School of Hope and the Jamgara School of Hope received a new pair of shoes. In the fall of 2011, approximately 268 students benefitted from the generosity of these donations.
HOPE worldwide Bangladesh was able to purchase shoes for all the students of their schools. They even had some funds remaining that enabled them to give shoes, school supplies and school bags to new students admitted in 2012.
All of our students and their families are extremely grateful. HOPE worldwide Bangladesh expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the Helsinki Church and Bata Shoe Company for making this possible.
