I'm so excited to share the great news about my ENGAGEMENT to our brother in Christ Paul Algarin (Fayetteville, North Carolina). He proposed to me this evening at Sunset Beach, NC as we walked on the beach watching a beautiful sunset. I've posted photos on my Facebook profile of us and the gorgeous ring! :-)
Paul and I have been building our relationship since we met on DT Heart & Soul back in February and March of last year. We decided to make a commitment (with lots of advice) of taking turns flying back and forth from NC and Connecticut every month since May. God has blessed us incredibly and the long distance has helped build our relationship on strong communication and A LOT of faith.
I'm excited to start this new chapter with Paul. Our dating (since the Miami International Leadership Conference) has been a wonderful experience and so many couples have helped us along the way in both ministries. We are compatible on so many fronts and I'm looking forward to what God has in store for our future family. Paul is a single dad with 2 kids who live with him full-time.
