Dr. Ottenweller's "Shelter from the Storm" blog continues as he treks across Africa.

He has reported from Zambia, Namibia, South Africa, Botswana and more. You can follow his visits to the AIDS clinics and programs that are keeping hope alive in Africa.

In his latest entry, Dr. Ottenweller reveals the realities of AIDS in Mozambique:

"More than 50% of the population lives on less than $1 per day. Now it has 1,500,000 people living with AIDS or 12.5% of the population of 21,000,000 and 400,000 orphans due to AIDS. You can see the ravages of war, and poverty and AIDS citywide."

His recent entries include:

Molepolole, Mogonono, and Me (and You)
